Tidings from the West
Greetings from the West Brethren,
Summer is around the corner, but it is surely making us wait a bit since Spring is really taking its time, not knowing what Winter is doing! Patience is what we need with Mother Nature. Patience is also what we need in our masonic journey as we continue to learn and share our knowledge and teaching with others.
Throughout my journey, I very often hear that we get out of Masonry what we put in. I would disagree with this statement. Masonry gives us much more that we can ever “put in”, for reasons already explained! Masonry will give much, much more. Let's take for example one of our simple principles, “Rectitude of Conduct”. What if all men, from all creed and from all over the world followed this principle: “Rectitude of Conduct?” What if all men, from all creed and from all over the world had our moral values? The world would be a far better place, a much better world. This is why we are the bastion, if not the last bastion that needs to show our fellow men that our organization, our order is, among other things, full of meanings, full of good deeds and well-intended actions.
This coming Saturday May 6th, 2017, during our annual Open House, we will have an opportunity to meet with the public and answer questions they may have. This is going to be one of our best opportunities to show the world who we are. Come and join us for this wonderful event!
On the level my brothers, as always.
