Tidings from the West
Greetings Brethren and tidings from the West. Please join me in welcoming our newly obligated Brother Ronnel Villodres. I also want to thank all of the Brethren, our own as well as the many visitors that were able to make it out and be a part of his initiation. Now, if you could, think back to that time when YOU decided to become a mason. What did you think it was going to be like to be a mason? What did you think you were going to get out of this milestone decision you just made? Now think of today, has Freemasonry delivered for you? Have you received what you wanted from your spiritual investment? If not, I think we have to ask ourselves honestly.... why not? No reward I have ever received in life was as sweet as what I reaped from something... anything...that I planted; I nurtured, and then shared the bounty with another. It's very clear to me that I have a direct influence in my own level of satisfaction in my journey of life. So, if you just haven't been satisfied with your return, please come to the lodge and share with me what we, as Brothers, can do to fulfill your expectations. Besides our regularly scheduled meeting, we have another EA Degree and a MM Degree this month of which I sincerely hope you can be part. Let us strive to be tolerant that we ourselves may be tolerated by others.
