Tidings from the West
Greetings from the West Brethren,
Winter is settling in as is the snow. This does not hinder our brethren to meet at the lodge, work on rituals and better the craft. As Master Masons, we are always reminded that in our constant quest for light, we must live by and act according to the obligations we took when kneeling at the altar and that we conduct ourselves in such a manner that our actions convey trust and respect. We often talk about the positive and negative impacts technology has on social interaction and the dissemination of information. However, it is my belief that nothing can replace face to face discussions with a person inquiring about the craft or when members of the lodge initiate much deeper intellectual or philosophical conversations about Free Masonry in general. For that purpose, the lodge is opened every Wednesday at 6:00 PM unless stated otherwise. During the first week of February, the officers will be attending the Grand Lodge Communications and will provide a summary thereof during next business meeting.
On the level my brothers, as always.
