Greetings from the East

Greetings from the East Brethren.

Brethren, our summer recess is just about to come to a close, and we will once again be dwelling in unity, and continuing our work on the Temple of God.  Throughout the summer I have continued my studies in further light as I hope each of you has done.  It always amazes me how quickly we forget. I will report that the Table Lodge we held on June 24th in conjunction with Golden Spike Lodge was both a success and lot of fun.  We had a great crowd and a great meal provided by Worshipful Brother Tony Lella's restaurant.  I look forward with great anticipation to our meeting on September 7th and hope to see you all there.

Fraternally,

Denny K. Wilcox
Worshipful Master

From the Secretary’s Desk:

Brethren,

The summer is over.  Where does the time go?  Before you know it, Christmas will be here and we will be celebrating a New Year.  They say time goes faster as you get older.  I sure don’t know who is getting older, not I.

I am sorry to report the death of two Brethren.  I was informed in June of the death of Brother Charles Simpkins.  He lived in Arkansas and died in October of 2015.  Worshipful Brother Stanley Wright PM of George Washington Lodge #24 died on August 19th.  Some Brethren were able to attend his service on the 23rd.  Let’s keep their families in our thoughts and prayers.

Hope to see you in lodge.

Fraternally,

David W. Barron, PGM-Secretary
