Greetings from the East
Greetings from the East Brethren,
I will start this new Masonic Year by wishing you all a healthy, prosperous and Happy New Year! I am pleased to welcome our newly installed officers who, like me, will continue to not only convince the world but show the world that in becoming Masons, we indeed became better men, always seeking to improve ourselves in Masonry. I am proud to be surrounded by Brethren who are just, true and upright Masons and who are making our Lodge the place we enjoy to go and meet on Wednesdays for work and instruction, discuss all that is Masonic or provide useful information to those coming to the meet-up sessions.
A lot of work awaits us and I encourage you to attend our meetings and assist in our degree work, if you are able to. We have two Entered Apprentices degrees scheduled in January. Let's make these ceremonies memorable for new candidates. Let's instill in them that one of the most important things in Freemasonry is that “we get out of it what we put into it”. Being surrounded by men of good character can be a powerful influence in putting them on the path to become better men.
From the Secretary’s desk
I Thanks to the many Brethren for sending in their dues. I have enjoyed your notes. If you have not already done so, please send in your dues for 2018. They are still $75.00 and are due by January 1st.
