From The East
Greetings from the East Brethren,
I would like to thank those Brothers who faithfully show up to Lodge for our business meetings as well as our degree work. I would like to encourage the Brothers to show up for ALL the degree work as in my opinion the EA and FC degrees are just as important as the MM. I can't imagine what a newly initiated Brother thinks when he's brought from darkness to light and sees 10 or 12 Brothers sitting on the sidelines, although, again, I do appreciate those who do show up.
I would like to thank the Brothers who stepped in to fill the vacancies my officers chairs due to sickness or other commitments, without you there would be no business meetings or degree work, thank you so much.
November's business meeting will be an eventful one, not only do we have petitions to vote on, but we will be voting on next year's officers, so, come prepared to stay for a while, we can take a break about half way if need be.
Lastly, we will prepare a Thanksgiving dinner again for the Homeless Vets coming up this month and I would like a volunteer to run that for me. It shouldn't take much of your time, just coordinating with the other two Lodges who share our building. Thanks in advance, God Bless and see everyone on the 2nd.
