Greetings from the East
Tidings from the East Brethren,
April seems to be the epitome of “Spring is Here” and the increasing warmer weather. The Latin word aperio, meaning “to open or bud,” gives us the name April. Spring celebrates the renewal of life. Here we are beginning only the fourth month of this year and we have already had the pleasure of conferring each of the three degrees budding new life into our fraternity. Even more exciting is knowing there are more men knocking at the door desiring to take the path of masonic life with us. It appears there will be several petitions to be read at this month’s business meeting. The District #1 Lodges have been actively sharing the dates of upcoming degree work and events that promote visitation, teamwork and fellowship. I encourage you to visit other lodges as well as ours. Your presence on the sidelines means more than you know. Stay tuned to the ‘Crew’ chat, texts and emails for upcoming events to attend in our District. With ‘Grandview’ coming online to replace the ROLLS program this will be even more convenient as I understand it.
