From the East
As March comes to a close and we enter into spring, I reflect upon all the new beginnings this time of year provides, The weather begins to become favorable, the grass begins to green up and the trees blossom, we too as Masons should blossom. With the warmth from light in the east shining upon our faces we should see no shadows.
March has been a great month, Grand Lodge Visitation went well, and a new Entered Apprentice initiated. Much appreciation is given to all the Brethren for their assistance and guidance.
April will be another busy month, the degree teams are working very hard to become proficient in the work for the upcoming Master Mason degrees, as well as the balloting on a petition that was read in the March business meeting. April is also the time for the Grand Lodge Leadership academy, this is open to all Master Masons and I strongly encourage you to attend, it is scheduled for the 12th of April and the cost is $30.00. The information they present is invaluable. Reservations need to be made in advance and are due by April 7th. Please contact myself or MWB David Barron if you are interested and we will answer any questions you may have.
