From  The East

Brethren, I hope all is well with you, your family and friends.  It’s good to be back, is it just me or do you need a vacation to recover from the vacation you just finished.  We were only gone two weeks but it was a non-stop two weeks.

Anyway, it was good to see all the members and visitors at the EA degree for Brother Frayser, there were more Grand Lodge officers on the sidelines than I’m used to seeing and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate them taking the time out of their busy schedules to visit.

Speaking of Grand Lodge, we will have our Grand Lodge Visitation during the April business meeting on the 6th, as per Most Worshipful Liley’s request there will be no dinner, the meeting is to be held as a regular business meeting and they will enter afterwards.  However, I would like to keep the business meeting as short as possible so I’m requesting that the Brethren keep any comments as short as possible so our meeting can go as smoothly as possible.  We will have a guest speaker in lieu of an educational feature. Brother Jerry Farkas from Gateway wanted to visit and talk about the Boys and Girls Club gathering.

I hope to see all the Brethren who are able to attend on the sidelines for the Grand Lodge visitation.  If anyone needs a ride just give me a call and I’ll be more than happy to pick you up and take you home after.  We only have one EA degree this month on the 20th and again, I would appreciate everyone attending to show the newly initiated Brother what the fraternity is all about.

Fraternally,

Thomas E. Caygle Sr., Worshipful Master
